Today’s Scripture

“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.”
— MATTHEW 25:35-36 (NIV)

The Disguised Divine

Jesus reveals a stunning truth: Every act of mercy is an encounter with Christ Himself. When we serve:

  • A homeless veteran → We honor the King of Kings
  • A lonely senior → We entertain angels (Hebrews 13:2)
  • An imprisoned addict → We visit the One who sets captives free

Your Hands, His Heart

This week, transform ordinary moments into sacred service:
🔹 Takeout becomes communion (Deliver a meal to someone struggling)
🔹 Your closet becomes a sanctuary (Donate clothes prayerfully)
🔹 Your phone becomes a lifeline (Call someone who feels forgotten)

Prayer for Compassionate Eyes

Lord Jesus,
Open my eyes to see You in:

  • The coworker eating alone
  • The neighbor grieving silently
  • The refugee starting over

Break my heart for what breaks Yours. Let my service be love made visible. May someone today meet You through my hands.

Amen.
