Today’s Scripture

“Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me.”
— MATTHEW 18:3-5 (NIV)

Why Childlike Faith Shakes Heaven

Children Show Us How to Trust:

  • 👶 Uncomplicated belief – They don’t overanalyze love
  • 👐 Open-handed dependence – They expect provision
  • ❤️ Wholehearted devotion – They love without reservation

Jesus Says This Makes You:
✅ Kingdom-ready (“enter the kingdom”)
✅ Surprisingly great (“greatest in the kingdom”)
✅ His personal representative (“welcomes me”)

Your Faith Reboot Challenge

  1. Identify one “adult” worry – Trade it for childlike trust today
  2. Serve someone vulnerable – See Christ in them (v5)
  3. Ask simply – “Father, will You…?” (No fancy prayers needed)

Prayer of Dependent Love

Abba Father,
I confess I’ve made faith complicated with my doubts and strategies.

  • Untangle my grown-up unbelief
  • Give me a toddler’s grip on Your hand
  • Let me welcome You in the least impressive people

Today, I bring You:
🎈 My wonder (not just my worries)
🖍️ My scribbled prayers (not polished words)
🤲 My empty hands (ready for Your provision)

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

💡 Activation:

  1. Do something “childish” today – Blow bubbles, laugh freely, nap without guilt
  2. Tell someone: “God loves you like a perfect Parent”

🌟 “See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!” (1 John 3:1)
