Today’s Scripture
“Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always.”
— 1 CHRONICLES 16:11 (NIV)
The Twofold Path to Divine Power
1️⃣ LOOK UPWARD (“Look to the Lord”)
- Stop staring at:
- Your weaknesses ❌
- Your obstacles ❌
- Start seeing:
- His track record of faithfulness ✅
- His available strength right now ✅
2️⃣ SEEK CONSTANTLY (“seek his face always”)
- Not just His hands (what He can give)
- But His face (who He is)
- The difference between transaction and transformation
When You Seek First…
- Your battles become worship (2 Chronicles 20)
- Your fears become faith (Psalm 27:8)
- Your exhaustion becomes endurance (Isaiah 40:31)
Prayer of Reliance
Mighty God,
I confess I’ve been:
🔍 Searching Google before seeking You
💪 Leaning on my hustle instead of Your holiness
- Break my addiction to self-reliance
- Train my spiritual eyes to see You in every situation
- Fuel me with Your strength when mine fails
Today, I choose to:
☀️ Begin my day in Your presence
⚔️ Fight from victory, not for it
🙌 End by recounting Your faithfulness
In Jesus’ conquering name, Amen.
🔥 Seeking Challenge:
- Write your boldest prayer → Place it where you’ll pray it daily
- Text a friend: “What should we be seeking God for together?”
💎 “When You said, ‘Seek My face,’ my heart said, ‘Your face, Lord, I will seek.’” (Psalm 27:8)
