Verse of the Day
“However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.”
— ACTS 20:24 (NIV)
What It Means to Live with Gospel Urgency
Paul’s mindset challenges us:
- 🏁 Life isn’t about comfort—it’s about completing your God-given mission
- 🎯 Success isn’t accumulation—it’s faithful proclamation
- 💡 Your “task” is specific—how is God uniquely calling you to share His grace?
This changes your perspective on:
- Time ⏳ → “How can I leverage today for eternity?”
- Relationships 💞 → “Who needs to hear hope?”
- Struggles 💪 → “How does this refine me for greater impact?”
How to Run Your Race Well
1️⃣ Clarify Your Calling
- Ask: “What’s my unique role in God’s story?” (Not comparison—obedience!)
2️⃣ Eliminate Distractions
- Say no to good things to say yes to the best
3️⃣ Sprint Toward the Finish
- Live so that one day you’ll hear: “Well done, good and faithful servant!” (Matthew 25:23)
Prayer of Relentless Focus
Lord Jesus,
I don’t want to reach the end with regrets.
- Strip away my obsession with temporary things
- Ignite in me a passion for the lost
- Show me today who needs Your grace
Let my life:
📢 Speak of Your mercy
❤️ Demonstrate Your love
✝️ Point clearly to Your cross
In Your name, Amen.
