Verse of the Day

“Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”
— MATTHEW 5:10 (NIV)

Jesus doesn’t promise an easy life—He promises a meaningful one. If you’ve ever faced criticism, rejection, or hardship for doing what’s right, this beatitude is for you. Your faithfulness has an eternal reward.

Share Your Faith: Standing Firm in Righteousness

Following Jesus isn’t always popular. In a world that often rejects God’s truth, standing for righteousness can lead to:
✔ Mockery or misunderstanding
✔ Social exclusion or discrimination
✔ Even outright persecution (as many believers face globally)

But Jesus calls the persecuted “blessed”—not because suffering is good, but because Heaven is their victory.

How to Respond When Faith Is Challenged:

  • Remember the reward (God’s eternal kingdom > temporary approval).
  • Pray for those who oppose you (Matthew 5:44).
  • Stay rooted in Scripture (Truth strengthens us in hard times).
  • Find community (You’re not alone—other believers stand with you).

Prayer for Perseverance

“Heavenly Father, when I feel weak, remind me that Your strength is enough. When I want to give up, fill me with courage to keep going. Show me what it means to seek Your righteousness above all else, and help me live in a way that honors You—no matter the cost. My hope is in Your eternal kingdom. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
