One of the most powerful ways to represent Jesus in our daily lives is through our attitude and reactions. When we slow down enough to truly listen — with our hearts, not just our ears — we invite peace into the conversation.

By being slow to speak and slow to become angry, we allow the Holy Spirit to lead our responses, not our emotions. In doing so, we model the patience, love, and grace of God — and that draws people to Him more than any argument ever could.

Today, challenge yourself to:

• Respond with empathy instead of irritation.
• Let God’s peace guide your emotions.

God, please make me quick to listen today. Teach me to love others sincerely and practically. Replace my frustration and anger with Your grace, patience, and compassion. Let my responses reflect Your heart, and may my presence bring peace to those around me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
