There’s something deeply fulfilling about building a website from scratch, taking a vision, organizing the pieces, designing the layout, and then watching it come alive online. But what makes it even more powerful for me isn’t just launching a polished site for a client…
It’s doing it with my kids by my side.
As I build, I teach.
HTML, CSS, drag-and-drop builders, design principles, structure, problem-solving it all becomes a learning experience. They don’t just watch me work; they ask questions, explore tools, and even build their own little projects. They’re not just learning code they’re learning confidence, creativity, and how to bring ideas to life.
This isn’t just about web development. It’s about legacy. About showing them what’s possible when you mix skills with curiosity.
Every site I build is another opportunity to invest in their future. And honestly? That’s the part I love the most.
If you’re a parent who builds or creates do you involve your kids in your process?
I’d love to hear how you’re passing your skills down too.
